Presidents’ Day 2021

Here in Norfork, Arkansas, the snow is coming down hard and piling up quickly, keeping us indoors in the warm. We hope you all are keeping warm and safe, enjoying a beer as you sit by the fire.

We would like you take a moment to look at where Nature’s Beer visited this past summer, thanks to one of our fans, Lacey. We imagined that these Presidents would have greatly enjoyed a beer.

Washington Memorial, Washington DC

Were you aware that President Washington brewed his own beer? According to Beer History.com, President Washington greatly enjoyed a dark porter. I think he would have enjoyed a Black Oak Stout.

Lincoln Memorial, Washington, DC

President Lincoln is believed to have said, “I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts, and beer.”

Franklin D, Roosevelt Memorial, Washington, DC

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt is an incredibly important figure for us beer lovers. In 1933, he worked to pass the 21st Amendment, which officially ended Prohibition. Thank goodness for FDR!

So, on this chilly Presidents’ Day, take a moment to celebrate these three fine Presidents!
